Hunt for Hope

Hunt for Hope is a family friendly team scavenger hunt! Hunters will be given a list of items, some to find, some to snap a photo, some tasks to be performed. All funding raised from Hunt for Hope Utah will underwrite IBC research.

Don’t forget to share your story with family and friends!

Event Details:

Saturday, September 18, 2021
9:00am - Noon
2352 East Highway #193
Layton, UT 84040

  • Teams are comprised of two or more participants. The ideal team size is four to six members.
  • Teams must stay together throughout the hunt and cannot separate to complete tasks.
  • You only need a digital camera or camera phone and transportation to participate.
  • Hunters will be given a list of tasks to complete. Teams will have about three hours to complete as many tasks as possible. Each task is assigned a point value.
  • Prizes will be given to the individual and the team with the most points.

A suggested donation of $25 per person to join the fun. The IBC Network Foundation will not form teams for members. After signing up, on the day of the event, hunters will be given an event t-shirt and issued the list of items to search for and photograph. At the end of the hunt, we will return to the launch site and celebrate with prizes.

How do I join in the fun?

  1. Create a fundraising page for your team. Be creative with the team name when creating your page.
  2. Share the page link with your team, and have them share it with their friends and family.
  3. Complete the live event registration form.

You do not have to participate in the actual hunt to help fundraising. Just create a page and start sharing!

What is IBC?

Inflammatory breast cancer is a rare but most fatal form of breast cancer. While it accounts for 2-6% of all breast cancers, the 5-year overall survival rate is 40%, as compared to near 90% for all types of breast cancer combined. Since inflammatory breast cancer can not be detected until a stage III, we need more research for this aggressive breast cancer.
The IBC Network has funded more than seven major IBC research projects in the last few years. All funds raised will go directly to research. Please share, please plan to attend, and ask friends and family to share and attend. We can only fund if you help.

Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help, I know we can reach our campaign goal and continue to provide an avenue to network proactive education to the general population as well as the medical community regarding Inflammatory Breast Cancer..
