Support Research for the Cancer That Took Her Too Soon
Margaret Szajowski (69) - Daughter of the late-Bernice and Ted Kubon; Wife to Edward for 43+ years; Mother to Anthony (40) and Alexandra (34); Babcia/Chaba/Lil Bashi to Sofie (9), Nahla (4), and Eleanor (4); devoted Sister to Anthony, Lucianne DeMarco, and the late-Anne Pandyra; Aunt and Ciocia to many is now at Peace.
Having battled Triple Negative Inflammatory Breast Cancer since September 2023, Margie transitioned on July 8th. She was under the care of Dr. Ami Shah from Northwestern Warrenville and lived a long 1.5+ years with this diagnosis - a highly aggressive and rare breast cancer.
Despite the battle she faced, Margie remained her smiling, positive, and energetic self through it all. With the love and support of her family until her very last breath, we will continue to commemorate her vivacious smile, nurturing nature, and caring heart with the following Services:
• WAKE: Wednesday, 7/23 from 4 to 8pm @ Cumberland Chapels (8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706)
• FUNERAL: Thursday, 7/24 @ 10am @ St. Eugene Catholic Church (7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago, IL 60656)
• BURIAL: to follow Funeral @ Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714)
