The James Cancer Hospital’s Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center recently launched an inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) program. The IBC program is the first in the state of Ohio and one of only five in the nation. Just last fall, the Dr. Lori Gill Grennan Inflammatory Breast Cancer Fund was established. Proceeds from our fundraiser go toward this fund and will be used for research on why inflammatory breast cancer has such a unique pattern or spread and aggressive course. The specialized IBC program was a long term goal, first considered by my sister, Dr. Lori Gill Grennan, a young doctor from Ohio, stricken by the disease. For years and in honor of Lori, our family has partnered with the IBC Network Foundation to support IBC research at MD Anderson, Dana Farber, and Vanderbilt. After years of preparations, we were able to underwrite an IBC program here in Ohio and get a legacy fund in Lori’s name started. We are thrilled to partner with The James Cancer Hospital’s Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center to offer world class care for this aggressive disease to women in and around our community. Please join us in supporting this milestone! Your support, by forming a team, being a donor and/or asking friends to donate, will assist in making a strike against the most fatal form of breast cancer, inflammatory breast cancer. Because of your generosity, the women of Ohio, and even surrounding states, will have better odds to beat this disease.

How to register your team to bowl:

Decide on a team captain.
Teams should be 4-6 people. Maximum of 6 bowlers per lane.
Each team requires a captain that will set up a team page by clicking the START FUNDRAISING button. Once your team has raised $300 you have secured a bowling lane for your team. As an example, this can be one $300 donation, six $50 donations, two donations of $150, etc.
Team captains provide each team member with the link to the team fundraising page so it can be shared.
